Partial Relaxation of the 70cm Repeater Embargo

Following discussions with the MOD, the RSGB Repeater Management Committee are pleased to announce that they are now in a position to invite applications for site moves and changes to existing listed 70cm repeaters.
Please note that no guarantee can be given that applications will be successful as it depends on the various parameters such as ERP, height and frequency being input to specialist software. The resulting changes must not exceed the baseline noisefloor as measured in 2003.
When this exercise is completed the RMC may be seeking new applications but it is stressed that the initial requests must be solely for changes to existing repeaters.
All applications must be received by RMC Regional members by the deadline of 30th April 2006 and applied for using the e1 application form that is available from this web site, or can be provided on application.
